These are some shots of a cabin from our historic main street in Smalltownland. The land plot was purchased in 1796 and it is thought that the cabin was built shortly thereafter.
I like the fact you were able to get up close and take some shots of the windows and exterior wood. Very nice! :)
wow...it has held up well...great photos..
How neat! I like the second shot looking in the window
I just love your photos. Those are fabulous and what a wonderful bit of history you are able to live near.

Love, love, love the cabin. It reminds me of my Grandparents' cabin from when I was growing up. I spent many a summer there!

I love the rustic look of the cabin. I bet it has great stories to tell!P.S. I like your new banner with the barn! :)
Love the cabin. That's the style we used when we built our hunting cabin on my friends farm.
I love cabin and barn shots! Great photos
Lovely perspectives here. I especially like that 2nd shot !Did I mention that I really like your (new ?) header ?
My town recently put up a vintage log cabin across from the post office. I've taken a few pics, but still don't know what the background is. You've inspired me to do some investigating today!
Great shots of a beautiful old log home. At first I couldn't figure out what was inside the window shot, then realized there was a reflection of your car. Looks like someone lives there. Love the candle in the window. We helped friends build a log home once...from a kit, but it was a fun experience, almost like playing Lincoln Logs.
Wow! The craftsmenship of those buildings is incredible!
Beautiful photos. Love the perspective. : )~Andrea~
It is very old for a cabin, excellent shot!

There are wonderful, simple details here, Farmchick. Thanks for sharing.
I love photos of windows and the vanishing point in the last one.
