Thoughtless Thursday

  1. These are some shots of a cabin from our historic main street in Smalltownland. The land plot was purchased in 1796 and it is thought that the cabin was built shortly thereafter.

  2. I like the fact you were able to get up close and take some shots of the windows and exterior wood.

  7. Love, love, love the cabin. It reminds me of my Grandparents' cabin from when I was growing up. I spent many a summer there!

  22. My town recently put up a vintage log cabin across from the post office. I've taken a few pics, but still don't know what the background is. You've inspired me to do some investigating today!

  23. Great shots of a beautiful old log home. At first I couldn't figure out what was inside the window shot, then realized there was a reflection of your car. Looks like someone lives there. Love the candle in the window.
We helped friends build a log home once...from a kit, but it was a fun experience, almost like playing Lincoln Logs.
