What a beautiful catch. It's starting to look like that around here with all the rain that keeps coming. Most of the snow is gone.
Solitude and sanctuary come to mind, but it might just be my wishful thinking ;-) Very nice!
This photo is like looking out of the window over my kitchen sink.
It feels like I'm standing right there looking at this barn. Nice shot!
So desolate looking...so peaceful.
Very SIMPLY beautiful.
WOW! Did you apply a texture to that photo or is that mountain in the background? It's wonderful! I want a picture puzzle of it!!!
What a lonely building.....oops...guess it's supposed to be thoughtless.:)(It's so hard to be thoughtless when I so love your captures!
This photo makes me want to slip through the barbed fenced and run up that hill to go see what is in the old barn. When I was seven, I did slip through a barbed fence, caught a barb on my back thigh, leaving a 2 inch scar I still have. That wasn't the bad part...it was having to get a titinus shot in my backside in front of my friends. :0
Beeeeeee-u-tiful. Love it. Have a wonderful Thursday, my friend!
That should be a postcard!
What a beautiful building! I also love the barn pic as your header. Is it your barn?
And Good Morning to you too! Love the peace.BlessYourHeart
We were supposed to go on a trip this spring break, but now with sick kids, it's not looking too promising. I was excited because I was going to take my camera and try to get some good shots like you do. I'm pretty sure they will be blurry, with any heads cut out. But hey, at least I'm trying.
You are such a great photographer. Your community is fortunate to have you document its beauty here.--Inger
Sometimes a photo reminds me of a painting, this one reminds me of the colors of the great Andrew Wyeth.

I dont think i would mind doing dishes at all if this was the view from my kitchen window. This is lovely...
Memories revived...a scene from the past...well done!
I love old barns!
I have become a faithful reader of your blog! Just as much as I love your photos and posts, I love your playlist!! I used it as my background music this afternoon while working on some much-dreaded online class work - it was just what I needed to make the time a little less painful!
Cool picture :-)
How pretty. A lonely barn high on a hill.
texwisgirl - I did apply some texture to this photo. I have been playing around with some new processing.
Ivy - Thank you for reading my blog! I do appreciate it. Glad you enjoy the music player.
Like a picture for a first chapter of a long, long book. Beautiful. Please have a good Friday you all.daily athens
I like the horses corralled in the forefront of that barn. Nice photo!PS: My blog helps me remember the details of a trip..otherwise I forget so much of it in a week :)
That is a lovely scene.
Beautiful. This looks like Ohio, as well!
Very nice shot!could be use in a romantic setting OR a horror movie....ThanksLeontien
That picture looks like a painting,I was thinking "should I comment on the photo and then find out it is a painting..." so I waited for all the other readers to comment. The background didn't look "real" ha ha
VP commented that this looks like a painting, and that is exactly the thought I had.
Gorgeous shot! Everything seems so silent here, the picture speaks for itself! Loved it:-)
Can we switch places for a week???Have a great weekend!!
It looks like spring is just dying to break forth! Beautiful in an eerie kind of way.
I really like this pic!As someone who is always striving to get "close ups", this pic reminds me that sometimes "close up" is not always the best.
Just like spring is nearly tangible, so is the barn through the wire fence and tree branches. The perspective of everything at different distances is very good including the subtle background sky.
