The photos combined with the quote tells such an important story. Maybe we should all go back to thinking and playing like children!

Great poem. I think I need to read to myself everyday!
I believe it. And try to practice it.
Love the quote and photos. I've always said, "What people think of me is none of my business".
That's beautiful. Saving this quote, and great shots.
Thanks to Toots for wonderfully illustrating the concept of free thought and actions. :)

So true. We should never let others define who we are!!!!

You know how sometimes, someone says the exact thing you need to hear? Yep, this is one of those times.
Rock on! Terrific set of photos. Your daughter looks like she was having a blast. Funny how the concept of time (and it being limited) changes as we age...

How true, we shouldn't worry about what other people think about us and we should be ourselves and not try to be what other people want us to be. Looks like she's having fun!

Great message and I love seeing the photos of your daughter. Looks like something she loves to do.
Very true words!
Terrific photographs, Farmchick, especially the top one. The quote is from Jobs' commencement address at Harvard a couple of years ago, isn't it?BTW, as I scrolled down the photos, I started giggling as I recalled the Jimmie Fallon send-up of Neil Young's "Whip My Hair." If you haven't seen it, go to Youtube.
Funny I just used this quote at work last week. Wonderful shots!
Oh wonderful and fun!Such great snaps! Think my favorite is the one with hair STRAIGHT up in a cone! GOOD STUFF!

I am always wary about quotes from billionaries, but in this lovely contest even these slightly egomaniacal words take a fresher and more sincere flavour.
Great post!Great pics!I spent too many years being what someone else thought I should be.Now I'm on my way to becoming what I WANT to be. Yay!!
I love the pictures! So great and so much fun! Wish i was a teenager again!
I'm a little emotional reading this! I want every one of my kids to live by these words of Steve Jobs. Thanks for sharing!Katie

Fine words to live by... now, gotta find a trampoline! hahahaha
You couldn't have picked a better set of photos for this quote. Great post. There's something about the gut reaction of the heart, a lesson in there for me and it's good to be able to have advice to in times of need.
The hair makes the pix, of course. Kids are great, aren't they. Of course, after watching her bounce, I need a nap.
Great text and images!
